Advanced Placement Program
The Advanced Placement (AP) Program, designed and administered by the College Board (U.S.), allows students to take university-level courses and exams while still in secondary school. Recognized by universities worldwide, AP courses help students develop critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills—preparing them for college and beyond.
AP Exam
The Advanced Placement (AP) Exam is an internationally recognized assessment tied to 38 university-level courses across seven disciplines. Each course culminates in a rigorous, standardized exam that evaluates students' mastery of college-level material.

Student Testing
NWEA: Measure of Academic Progress (MAP)
Students in grades K–10 are assessed twice a year, in fall and spring, to track academic growth. Reports are shared with parents at the end of the first and fourth quarters.
Design & Assessment (WIDA)
Every potential TAS student is given a WIDA test to assess their level of English language development.
Pre-Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT)
Students in grade 10 are given the opportunity to experience a college-level exam in preparation for the college application process.

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
Twice during the school year TAS serves as city-wide SAT testing center. Grade 11 and 12 students from Ho Chi Minh City and the surrounding areas have the opportunity to take the exam as a means for college acceptance.
