Ms. Dung Kim

Lab Coordinator

I have been teaching at TAS since the school year of 2019-2020. I am an enthusiastic Middle-High School teacher who teaches Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language & Culture at TAS.

In my years of working, I have experience in different professional international work environments which benefits me rapidly adapt to new environments and be flexible in working. Since I have been exposed to various cultures, I appreciate Vietnamese traditional values and have passion to help my students understand Vietnamese cultures and people to love them more.

I received a BA in Linguistics from University of Social Sciences and Humanities, majoring in Language Teaching. Besides, I earned a certificate of Teaching Vietnamese for Foreigners, which helps me introduce Vietnamese to foreign students efficiently.

As an experienced linguistic teacher, I am quite keen on languages and cultures from different countries and eager to learn new things. I have had opportunities to teach languages to kids, teenagers and adults from the ages of 6 to 30.

To me, a teacher is the one who supports her students to achieve success. I have been challenged to be creative, thoughtful and most of all, patient. With a background in IT programming, I arrange things in logic so that the students can easily learn the lesson.

If you want to know a fun fact about me, that is, I was a programmer.
