Technology Coordinator
Ms. Wanda Adams, Georgetown, Guyana has been named TAS Technology Coordinator beginning August 1, 2019. In her professional career, Ms. Adams, for five years, served as elementary homeroom teacher in the public-school system in Guyana. For 16 years, she taught early years, Reading, Digital Citizenship and served as the Educational Technology Coach at the Georgetown International Academy.
Ms. Adams holds a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Caribbean and a Teaching Certificate in Elementary from the Ministry of Education (Guyana). Though she has taken a short hiatus in her studies for her master’s degree, she plans on resuming in the spring of 2020 studying to complete double majors in Educational Technology and Literacy.
Ms. Adams loves hosting STEAM activities and playing word games in her spare time. She is very excited to join the TAS team and look forward to the contributions she will make and the expertise she’ll gain from her colleagues.
