Mr. Benjamin Stone

EAL Teacher

Originally from England, Ben comes from a family of five and has been living in Vietnam for 8 years without any intention of returning. Actually, now he has a family of his own with his wife and young daughter who’ll also be attending TAS.

Ben completed his BA Honours degree in Philosophy at University of Leeds a decade ago. He is critically inclined and loves nothing more than expanding his mind through social interactions with locals around the world.

Having traveled extensively in the years since leaving university, he has garnered a unique perspective on the world which has translated into teaching. He relentlessly aims to broaden the horizons of his students.
Away from teaching, he can be described as a ‘foodie’, happy to try any local delicacies at the drop of a hat. His passion remains travelling and learning more about the world but nowadays he seems to spend all his time playing with his daughter – not that he’s complaining!

Here’s a quote to finish:
The ultimate measure of a person is not where they stand in moments of comfort and convenience, but where they stand at times of challenge and controversy.
