Who am I?

I’m a 32-year-old Canadian from Halifax, Nova Scotia. I am the middle child of three sons, born of a Hungarian mother and a Canadian father. I have lived and worked internationally for the past 12 years in France, South Korea and now in lovely Saigon! I am a polyglot, in love with languages and do my best to learn the local language of every country I live in. I am also a painter, a long-distance runner and I have always had a life-long passion for producing hip-hop music! I’m very excited to be joining the TAS team and I’m looking forward to meeting you all soon!

Educational Philosophy:

I believe that as a teacher, my job is not to tell you how or what to think, but to show you how any of life’s challenges, whether academic or otherwise, might be approached from your perspective. Life isn’t full of black and white decisions, and school isn’t about right or wrong answers. Rather, I see my goal as us working together to consider HOW to think about a problem and then we’ll speak about how you’d like to solve it. I also believe that learning a language doesn’t mean you have to focus solely on language acquisition; we can use the language you know to learn something new and interesting!

Fun Fact:

I once played against Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson in a game of volleyball.
