SAT TEST DAY: TIPS & LAST MINUTE REMINDERS
The SAT is a key part of the college admission process, especially toward studying in the U.S. It can be challenging and it’s normal to feel anxious, even with good preparation. To help Mustangs feel confident and do their best, TAS has some helpful tips:
1️⃣ Relax the night before the exam
Avoid cramming at the last minute. It’s better to relax by listening to music, reading a book, playing a light game, or watching a movie to let your mind rest.
2️⃣ Sleep a little more than normal
Sleep is super important for focus and memory. Try to go to bed early so you can wake up refreshed and ready for a productive test day!
3️⃣ Keep calm and confident
Staying calm and confident is key to doing well on your exam. Trust in your preparation, keep a positive attitude, and focus on one question at a time.
4️⃣ Eat a healthy breakfast
Fuel your brain with a good breakfast. Choose something nutritious to keep you focused and energized during the test.
5️⃣ Pack your backpack or bag for test day
Don’t forget to bring your Test Admission Ticket, ID, laptop, and at least two pencils. You can also pack some protein-rich snacks to keep your energy up.
Good luck, Mustangs! You’ve got this!
